Fiduciaries of domestic estates, domestic bankruptcy estates, and domestic trusts may be required to file Form 1041 [U.S. Income Tax Return for Estates and Trusts].

Form 1041 may be filed in electronic or paper formats.

The mailing address for filing in paper format is determined by where the estate or trust is located. Additionally for filers located in the District of Columbia or in any of the 50 states, the four-digit extension of the zip code for the designated Internal Revenue Service Center differs according to whether payment is or is not included.

The mailing addresses for filing Form 1041 in paper format follow.

Stessily: Thank you for explaining what the IRS needs in regard to estates and trusts. The prefatory information helps in finding where I belong on your beautifully organized, logically presented and nicely written table.

Voted up, checked in all categories, and bookmarked as well,
